Monthly Challenge - Distressing

Hello everybody

Here comes my next submission for "Just Magnolia". This month the challenge is to Distress your card or project. I hardly ever colour with Distress Inks, but I nevertheless had lots of fun.
It was not my intention that my card becomes so shiny, but I still like the result. I hope you too. :-)

Another Christmas card

Hello everybody

Last Friday, my Mum, my Sister and I went to our craftroom that we rent. The procedure of such an evening is usually the following: We first eat the BEST Pizza (homemade by my Mum), chat a lot and then finally do some crafting. OK, it might not always be a productive reunion, but we always have fun and enjoy each others company. And for me, this is the most important.
My Sister brought her stamps, so I did lots of imprints of the Whiff of Joy stamps which I don't have, such as the Winter Collection from last year. During the last Winter, my hubby and I were in Australia, that's why I didn't buy any stamps.


The image that I used for this card is called "Lizzie with Muff" and became one of my favourite stamps. The background papers I received from my Sister and I have to say, that I very much like the colour combination. Something different than the traditional red/green combination. *lol*
From my stamping friend Monika, I have received this beautiful lace. It comes originally from St. Gallen (a city and canton in Switzerland) and is very well known and expensive. And the text is from my Justrite Stamps.

Just Magnolia Challenge

Hello everybody

My Sister submitted for the first time a card to a Challenge. She has chosen the Just Magnolia Challenge (Monochrome). She really inspired me, so I wanted to do the same. Well, I sat down this afternoon and started to do my card. This is also my first submission to a Challenge, but it will definitely not be my last one. *lol* I had so much fun doing this.

Hello everybody

In the stamping group "Stempelmiezen" where I am, my friend Alex organized a Swiss Craft Meeting. So I went there last Friday and met 3 other Ladies from the same Group. We stamped a lot, ate together and did some shopping in her office. We had so much fun, unfortunately the day went over too quickly.
This is the card I finished there. The snowman image is soo cute. The stamp is from Darcies, as well as the background-paper. I have coloured the image with copics. The snowflake border is made with an EK Success punch.


On this card I have used this adorable image from Motivet Rubberstamps. The edges I did on my own. I just used a corner rounder punch to make it more elegant and stamped a snowflake, so it didn't look so "naked". *lol*
For the white strip with stars, I used a cuttlebug folder. And the round circle is made with my new Justrite Stamps. I just love them and would never again give them away. They are so easy, versatile and so fun to use.


This image, also from Motivet Rubberstamps, I wanted to use a long time ago and now I finally made it. Isn't Dexter cute?
The snowflake charm I bought at embellishments.de and the punched border I did this time with a Fiskars punch.

Hello everybody

Today I am going to make a small posting. For the Group "Stempelmiezen", I had to do a card with the theme "At the beach". Well, this is the card that I did for Tina. I was so happy when she said that I hit the mark with it. :-)
It was quite difficult for me to make a card on this "small" format. Usually I work on square cards.
Herefore I have used this older Magnolia image, which fits perfectly. I also put some blue stickles, so at the end I had a really sparkling mermaid. *lol*
OK, I don't want to tantalize you any longer... This is my card. I hope you like it.

A gift for you

Hello everybody

It's me again. I made a card Sunday evening and wanted to post it but had to wait, because I was sure that the "enemy" would follow my blog. ;-)) Well, yesterday I got an e-mail from my stamping friend Monika saying, that she has received my envelope and gift. My present just contained a few charms and a "chain", so that she can hang up charms onto her cards. Lucky me, that she liked my surprise. ;-)

This Magnolia image is one of the first ones that I coloured with my copics. I kept the coloured image in a binder for months and now I finally found the right occasion to make a card with it.
The border is an EK Success punch and the brown design paper is from "The sweet matstack" from DCWV.

A big package has arrived

Hello everybody

Last Tuesday, during my vacation, the doorbell rang at 8.00 o'clock. The postal carrier came with a big package. Ohhh boy, I was sooo excited. I ran upstairs to the apartment like Speedy Gonzalez and immediately unwrapped everything. *lol*
I finally got my new "baby" called SLICE machine. Yeppiiiii


The same day I got a padded envelope, filled with brads and charms, that I bought at embellishments.de in Germany.



After I have received the new winter images from Motivet, I had to use them straight away. ;-) To start with, I have choosen the stamp "feeding the deer". Isn't this a cute image? I hope you like my newest creation.
